An automatic fire extinguisher is designed to operate without human intervention. When triggered by heat levels associated with fire, it activates automatically. Instead of a manual handle, it uses a glass bulb containing heat-sensitive liquid. When the liquid reaches a predetermined temperature, the bulb bursts, releasing the extinguishing agent. There are two main types:
1: Powder automatic extinguisher: Effective in a wide range of fires.
2: Clean agent automatic extinguisher: Ideal for areas with electrical fires, as it doesn’t harm sensitive equipment12. These systems can be manually activated or triggered automatically by fire detection systems.
